Opportunity & Approach
When NMTV (Inner Mongolia Television) was acquired by XFMedia, I was asked to create a new visual identity for the nationwide satellite television station - an opportunity I couldn’t pass up.
Our brief required that we create a new station identity to match the visual platforms that we were creating for the new parent company. We were also tasked to create a new five, seven, and ten-second station bumper using the new identity.
Our approach was simple because my team and I were already in production with projects for XFMedia and the Beijing Summer Olympics.
Solution
We created in-house a completely new station logomark. The new NMTV logomark was used in new five, seven, and ten-second station bumpers. We also created a new set of letterhead for the entire team at NMTV as an additional unrequested design element.
OUTCOME
/Results
The new designs and motion graphics were accepted by both XFMedia and NMTV. The design was used in the final production materials deployed in XFMedia NASDAQ IPO.

01/ Very tight production schedule from concepts to sign off and delivery of final creative product.
Our production timelines and the pressure to deliver were both factors we dealt with as approached the final stages of the XFMedia IPO project. The NMTV project was added to our list of deliverables very late in the schedule. Because of the long-standing professional relationships and open/creative structure between the teams with the motion graphics production and my creative team, we were able to successfully deliver the NMTV rebrand on time and on budget.
