Opportunity

VESTASIA Finance retained METERA to help them with the global roadshow to promote the firm for their upcoming NYSE Euronext IPO in Paris. For the IPO my team and I were tasked to create a new visual identity, a new set of brand guidelines, a new website, and an investor vision reel with all of the associated voice-over scripts (in English, French, and Chinese).

Approach

I had just completed a very large, but similar, project for XFMedia. We had also completed the work for the 2008 Summer Olympics. With many of the key team members already in place, it was easy to ramp up to tell VESTASIA’s unique investor story for the French, and Chinese markets. We accomplished this by focusing on the boutique investment house’s key market sectors they service.

Solution

The team and I created a new visual identity, a new set of brand guidelines, a new website, and an investor vision reel with all of the associated voice over scripts (in English, French, and Chinese).

OUTCOME

/Results

VESTASIA had a successful listing on the NYSE Euronext exchange (Paris, France) after its global roadshow.

The bilingual version of VESTASIA’s IPO road showreel presented at the beginning of each investor meeting. For the real I created the voice over script, our other departments created the animation effects, music bed, and shot the accompanying stills and video.

VESTASIA Brand Guidelines

I created with my team a complete set of brand guidelines to be used by the investment house post-IPO. We created the visual identity, logomark, color palettes, key messages, and brand lines.

/Solutions


01/ Our first NYSE Euronext IPO listing - a new market for the team and I.

I consulted with financial market experts who I had the opportunity to meet with while working on the XFMedia project. I also created a great working relationship with the CEO of VESTASIA to walk and the team and I through what we could or could not do.


02/ Proper localization from Chinese into French, and English.

French was a new language for our team to localize into. Because of the specific nature of the investor story, it was important that translations were on point. We went through many interviews with translators before finding the correct company.


03/ Switching from entertainment media and sports industries to the finance industry.

We had to switch our creative process from working on the Olympics and XFMedia to a French IPO listing of a boutique investment house. Because we had all of our systems in place and were “battle-tested” from two large complex projects, the switch was easy.


 

VESTASIA Website

After VESTASIA’s quiet period had ended, we launched a new website for the investment house we had developed alongside the IPO road showreel and brand guidelines.
